Purpose
Language Nodes provide a practical, auditable layer for handling language tasks across the platform. Instead of treating each language model as an isolated endpoint, we represent capability as a mesh of specialised agent-nodes. The Core routes requests to the most suitable node or ensemble, delivering consistent behaviour while preserving flexibility and scale.
How Language Nodes work
Each node is a lightweight reasoning agent instantiated with a focused posture · a domain, style, constraint set or heuristic. Nodes exchange contextual signals across a weighted graph; the emergent response is the result of coordinated local processing rather than a monolithic generator. The Core evaluates task requirements and dispatches a single node or an ensemble to execute the task.
Interaction model
User requests are submitted through authorised interfaces. The Core exposes controllable parameters · breadth (how many nodes engage), coupling (how strongly nodes influence each other) and persistence (memory behaviour) · so interactions are repeatable, auditable and tunable for the task.
Learning and persistence
Learning is local by default. Nodes may retain short-term or session memory and, where appropriate, promote distilled signals to longer-term storage. All persistence modes are governed by Core policies: sandboxed experimentation, ephemeral sessions, or persistent memory subject to access controls and audit trails.
Emergence and observability
Network behaviour may produce coherent, multi-voiced outputs; this is an expected emergent property of coordinated agents. Every dispatch, inter-node propagation and state update is logged. Observability is a core design principle · outputs are reproducible and the decision path (which node(s) handled a task and why) can be inspected.
Safety and governance
The Core enforces governance: access tiers, rate limits, isolation and approval workflows. Experimental node configurations run in monitored sandboxes. Memory promotion, cross-node sharing and external interfaces require explicit authorisation to prevent uncontrolled propagation or privacy leaks.
